We looked for our ideal church for 8 years with a well-defined list of features. A year ago, we accepted an invitation from our neighbor, Mike Hughes, to attend he and Pam's church, Covenant Hood River. We were hopeful this time we would find what we were looking for...
Our wish list was concise. Number one on our list was to find a talented, contemporary worship team where Sharilyn could express herself vocally. We had also hoped to find an authentic fellowship of believers, whose friendships extended into our everyday lives. We preferred a modern facility. We found a caring culture of service-oriented members who were warm and welcoming and who have become like family to us.
We also appreciate Covenant's commitment to helping its community in providing various outreach programs. We are thankful to have finally found a church that we can call home for years to come.
